Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients: Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Mix wet ingredients: Whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter in another bowl. Combine the batter: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry. Stir gently—leave a few lumps, as this makes for fluffy pancakes.
  2. Cook with butter in a skillet over medium heat. Pour in about ½ dl of batter per pancake. Flip at the right moment: when bubbles form on the surface (approx. 1–2 min) → flip. Cook for another 1 minute until golden brown.
  3. Classic toppings: Maple syrup, butter, bacon.
  4. Sweet toppings: Fresh berries, whipped cream, powdered sugar.
  5. Extra decadent: Nutella + banana, salted caramel sauce, toasted nuts.
