By Bo

A fresh, floral spritz of Lillet rosé, elderflower liqueur and lemon, topped with well-chilled cava and garnished with orange zest and fresh berries.
- Servings: 1
- Prep time: 5 min
- Total time: 5 min
Ingredients
- 10 cl cava (well chilled, preferably brut or extra brut)
- 4 cl Lillet rose
- 2 cl elderflower liqueur (e.g. St-Germain)
- 1 cl freshly squeezed lemon juice
- undefined undefined Ice
- undefined undefined Orange zest or thin orange slice
- undefined undefined Fresh raspberries or grapes (optional, for a luxurious touch)
Instructions
- Fill a large wine glass with ice. Pour in Lillet, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice. Gently top with cava. Stir lightly (not too much so the bubbles don't disappear). Garnish with orange zest and a few berries. Serve with a sprig of fresh thyme or rosemary.
- A fresh, floral, and elegant spritz, with a nice acidity from cava and citrus, and a round, luxurious sweetness from Lillet and elderflower. A pleasant alternative to Aperol spritz.
- Extra twist: Replace lemon juice with a few drops of grapefruit juice. Add a splash of rose water (very little!).
